47-48 St. Mary Street

Centurion acquired the prominent Grade II listed property at 47–48 St Mary Street in Cardiff city centre when it had become largely vacant, with upper floors formerly used as offices and the ground floor previously occupied by retail tenants.

Recognising its architectural character and prime position within the city’s historic core, Centurion initiated a comprehensive redevelopment to return the building to active use. The project involves the conversion of the four-storey property into ten high-quality residential apartments, while retaining and revitalising the ground and first-floor commercial spaces to support ongoing high-street activity.

Planning permission for the refurbishment and conversion was granted in August 2024, and works have progressed with the commercial areas now ready for tenant fit-out. The property is actively being marketed, marking another example of Centurion’s commitment to reviving heritage assets and delivering design-led regeneration across key urban locations.
