Since Centurion’s ownership and following a major redevelopment, Parc Tawe has transformed from a largely vacant retail park into a thriving hub with increased occupancy and a more diverse range of tenants. Centurion has raised the occupancy of the park from approximately 40% to 95% since 2021
Parc Tawe Retail Park: A Vibrant Destination
The transformation of Parc Tawe Retail Park has brought a range of exciting new leisure attractions and amenities, reinforcing its status as a key destination in Swansea. Notable additions include Flashpoint and Ninja Warrior UK, both of which have broadened the leisure offering and attracted new audiences to the site.
Alongside these entertainment venues, a diverse array of new restaurants has enhanced the dining experience available to visitors. The retail offering at Parc Tawe has also been significantly upgraded, with the introduction of new and improved stores. This includes the arrival of a flagship Sports Direct store in 2022 and the addition of major food retailer Aldi in September 2021, both of which have strengthened the park’s appeal and convenience for shoppers.
These new attractions and stores have perfectly complemented the existing line-up at Parc Tawe, which already featured well-known names such as Odeon Cinema, Tenpin Bowling, B & M Bargains, and The Food Warehouse. The presence of Kutchenhaus, offering bespoke German kitchens, bathrooms, and living solutions, adds further variety. In addition, Barnardo’s selected Parc Tawe for its brand-new superstore, providing the Swansea community with access to pre-loved fashion, homeware, furniture, and much more.
Visitors to Parc Tawe are also spoilt for choice when it comes to food and drink, with options including Denny’s American Diner, Ma Sa La Indian, Treatz Desserts, Costa Coffee, and Meat & Greet. This wide selection ensures that there is something to suit every taste, making Parc Tawe a vibrant and inclusive destination for all.
